Like tens of thousands of my fellow Vietnam Combat Veterans, Vietnam was both the worst and best of times for me. I saw unheralded bravery around me on a daily basis. Young men did things no one should ever be asked to do. Amidst the unspeakable horrors of war, I saw men bond closer than blood relatives. I saw them laugh and cry together. In those rare moments away from the sting of battle, I saw them gather for short breaks to relax and attempt to capture a moment that brought back to them a sense they were still Americans and their way of life waited for them... "back in the world". Here, for your review and collection, is some of my Vietnam War Art. More will be added from time to time.
